Course Description:
The MDS updates impact resident interviews, culturally competent care, health literacy, and discharge planning. social services’ role is impacted by many changes. Plan to attend this educational session to discuss the changes on the MDS 3.0, effective 2023.

1. Discuss culturally competent and trauma informed care
2. Examine the changes in the interview process related to PHQ-02-09
3. Review the social determinants of health correlating with discharge planning and prevention of re-hospitalization.
